Take care of yourself, before you take care of others.

Being willing to improve the lives of other people is noble.

However, if you sacrifice yourself in the process, it’ll eventually wear you out. As a result you’ll have less to give. Therefore, it is SELFISH to help others out at the expense of yourself. If you didn’t, you would be able to give more, you would be able to give longer.

It is NOT SELFISH to take care of yourself first. Lift yourself up, before you lift others up. You’ll be able to make a bigger impact, you’ll be able to do more good – in the long run.

Take care of yourself, before you take care of others.
