Comfort is poison to the ambitious.
The comfort zone is a dead-zone. It’s where curiosity dies, it’s where growth dies… slowly. It sneaks up on you as you get older.
If you ever find yourself to be one of the smartest kids in the room, get the hell out of there. You are on the wrong plane. Surround yourself with people you can learn from. People who inspire you to be greater than you are right now.
The challenges you face should thrill you, intimidate you at times. The things you did two years ago, should make you feel (at least a little bit) embarrassed. If it doesn’t, you didn’t grow enough.
The comfort zone is a walled garden.
Within this garden it’s safe. Within this garden life is easy. Within this garden there’s no external motivator to grow. Only by finding motivation from within you can break down the walls surrounding that garden.
It’s the only way to live up to your full potential.
Never settle.
